I can't uninstall and install every time I want to open up the game. I suspect that because I subscribed through Steam the game will not recognize my license unless I launch the game through Steam. I tried launching the game using local files and executing the FFIXVboot.exe using admin mode, and I get the launcher like normally, but when I type in my details to log in I get a screen saying that I don't have a license for the game. Then the second time I tried I had the same issue again. It worked for the first time I launched the game on steam. I've tried uninstalling and installing again.

This is not an issue with my PC as I've been using the same PC to play this game for 1k hours. Then the launcher closes on its own before I can enter my details.

After a few Steam updates later and 5.1 update whenever I press 'Play' on my FFXIV steam screen the launcher opens with the "FINAL FANTASY XIV" Logo on the grey background before the launcher properly loads in. I stopped playing for the last month before 5.1 patch. I have 1k hrs on this game using the same PC and set-up.
